Services Descriptions
Shallen's Creations LLC Creative Custom Crafts is not limited to these services. These are in place to help you determine if I am the correct fit for the creation you have in mind. I can have a team of artists on hand if your creation calls for one.
These can be anything you choose, such as, personalized handmade gifts, drawing, paintings, ceramics, 3-D boxes, and wood items such as shelves and birdhouses and more...For the big stuff, If you can't bring it to me...I might be able to come to you, there may or may not have an extra fee depending on location and accessibility.
With a repair, a fee includes gas and/or shipping & handling whichever the case may be, will be negotiated in emails
With every ORIGINAL, I will include a certificate of authenticity. I also use a "made by" stamp for originals and an "alterations by" stamp that is placed usually on the bottom of an item or the back. For the things you may bring/send me or an object to be painted/repainted or pre-branded type items...whatever...I CANNOT apply the made by stamp and must use the altercations stamp. I am always open to doing some advertising for others here on Shallen's Creations website. Perhaps some partnerships as well. Please feel free to reach out to me. To book the Service simply click on the red words of the service you're interested in. Please do NOT book an appointment unless you're ready to move forwards !!! For me to keep the initial appointments free, all appointment must be legitimate. Travel Details
I will NOT get on an airplane or helicopter EVER! Vehicles, bus, boats, and trains are all acceptable if you need me outside of Michigan for projects, at your expense. I am willing to travel up to 30 minute radius around Kalamazoo free of charge. However, if I need to go further, traveling fees may be included, such as gas, and hotel room if more than 3 hours away. Appointment location MUST be at a business, generally a food or coffee shop. All details will be handled through emails at shallenscreations@gmail.com
All intital meetings must be in public. For example , if you want a mural in your home, we will still have the inital meeting in a public place.
Policies & Links
Appointment Cancelation Policy. Sometimes in life things happen unexpectedly, I understand. So the following applies to me as well, your time matters too! Cancelations can be made via email, phone, even the QUOTE form if you must. It won't hurt my feelings. Please please please don't leave me hanging and wondering, I would not do that to you. In-person meeting are different than phone calls, so the policy shows that. For in-person, is 30 minutes prior then the specified time saves the gas! in the event of a no call no show, you will be flagged and if applies, could lose your membership and I may choose not to do business with you. With phone calls, I will call at specified time, if no answer, I will try again. If still no answer, I will leave a message and wait 30 minutes for your call back. Come the following morning if I still haven't heard from you to reschedule, I will assume something bad happened to you and say a prayer. If it's strange enough, I may reach out to someone on your behalf. Only in extreme circumstances though, no worries.

Formulas for Drawings & paintings:

Example...paper size of 24x30 = 54 Linear Inches so the formula is $25x54=$1,350
$2.5x54=$135
Piece Rate is for things that I can't accurately use linear inch with. Such as ceramic pieces, sculpting, or woodworking. As always details will be addressed in emails / meeting.
The formula for Piece Rate is...
Height & Width + Details ...Small objects-3 square Inch or less - $20/little detail - $40/lots of details. Medium - 4 square inch - 12 square inch $40/Little detail
$80/lots of details. Large - 12square inch - 24 square inch $60/little details
$120/lots of details. X-Large - 24 square inch or more
$200/little detail
$300+/lots of details.
These are minimum numbers, each size could cost somewhere in-between the numbers depending on the time it will take to complete. All pricing is subject to change as they are not set in stone. They are there to give you an idea what the service costs may look like. All factors involved depend on what your project is or will become.
Hourly, salary and commission rates require a contract that will be discussed and signed during our initial meeting. (phone calls will receive the document via email prior to specified time) these rate are determined by project size, supplies and the amount of time it will take for completion. Few example could be Design or Digital services, murals, large and extra large projects.
Salary/Commission Is the same pricing as the hourly rate $20/hr. except for this option is for the extra large, meaning something that will take 6 months or more to complete.
